There are hundreds of different templates that you can use to craft your press release. However, this is the most accepted format:

Press Release Headline Here (Needs to be obvious what the news is!)

Press Release Body Here (typically 300 to 500 words):

Dateline (City, State - Date) Summary of what the press release is about, two to three lines long.

Lead paragraph - Answer who, what, where, when, how and why

One or two photos here (optional)

Text -The main body of the press release where your message should fully develop.

About US: Information about your organization, products or services to help establish your expertise.
